Looks like a suburban street, really, but it's on the water. Our taxi driver pointed out the house where he lives. He said the part of the village where he used to live had a fire and the Sultan gave them these housed to replace what they'd lost. He also pointed out the schools (pne quite new and very modern looking), a clinic/hospital, the police station and  the mosque where the water village residents go.
