Early on our second day in Singapore we set off for a walk up Bukit Timah. The Pointer family do this walk (run for them) regularly on the weekend. It is not every day you can say that you’ve climbed a country’s highest mountain but Bukit Timah, at 163 metres, is not much of a mountain, really. To put this height into perspective there are some suburbs of Sydney that are higher but it can still be added to the list of peaks scaled.
Having conquered Bukit Timah we went to the Botanic Gardens for a late breakfast, fed the fish and wandered around the dinosaur (evolutionary) garden.
