This day was in three parts. Part 1 walking along the Tumut river to the Blowering Dam wall. Part 2 was walking over the dam and then along single trail next to the dam to Browns Campsite. The 3rd part was walking fire trails along the edge of Lake Blowering to Windy point. The 3rd part of the walk was long and slightly tedious. While you have good views, the fire trail walking is a bit uninspiring.
The first part of the walk was following the Tumut river. The big climb at the 5km mark is the ascent of Blowering Dam wall. The trail then undulates gently as it follows the Blowering foreshore.
